Travellers will need to do a 15-minute walk to reach platform 16 from platform 1. Passengers travelling with children and a lot of baggage should consider hiring a pre-paid taxi from the airport to the Paharganj side of the railway station. If travellers need to access the Paharganj backpacker area through the airport metro, they will need to cross the bridge of the railway station. An alternative is to take an auto from the metro to Paharganj.
